As a general rule, the thermal flowmeter should always be installed as far away as possible from any flow disturbances. For further information ISO Standard 14511.

Stop the gas flow and unpressurize the process pipe. • In the case of toxic, explosive or flammable gases, the pipe in which the measuring device is installed must be purged with an inert gas to remove all traces of the gas used.

    Proline t-mass 65 Commissioning Adjustment 7.5.1 Zero point adjustment Calibration takes place under reference operating conditions (→  90). Consequently, the zero point adjustment is generally not necessary! At zero flow conditions, the output of most thermal mass flow devices has a strong dependency on the process pressure.

Data storage device (HistoROM) At Endress+Hauser, the term HistoROM refers to various types of data storage modules on which process and measuring device data are stored.
