Possible solutions
Check the ac or dc power source. Reseat
all installed power cables and power
supplies. If applicable, check the power
components (power supplies or
uninterruptible power supply). Replace
defective power cables.
Check the fault LED on the power supply.
If the LED is lit, replace the failed
component.
Check and install a new 20 A rated
disconnect device.
Replace the DS3500. Contact your IBM
technical-support representative.
Make sure that the SAS cables are
undamaged and correctly connected.
Check the storage subsystem ID settings.
Replace one or both controllers. Contact an
IBM technical-support representative.
Replace the failed drive or drives.
Replace the DS3500. Contact your IBM
technical-support representative.
Replace the failed drive or drives.
Replace the SAS cable.
Replace controller. See Chapter 5,

more information.

Verify that the storage enclosure is
supported by the DS3500 storage
subsystem.
Replace the SAS cable.
