place individually when car-
rying out repairs
align the rear silencer free of
stress

Separate exhaust pipe at right angles at the separa-
tion point -arrow 2- with body saw, e.g. -V.A.G 1523-.
–
When installing fit repair clamping sleeve -4- between
-arrows 1 and 3-. Tightening torque 25 Nm.

Special tools, test and measuring equipment and
auxiliary items required
