RECEIVING A CALL ALERT PAGE F

When you Receive a Call Alert Page
F
The display shows
and the preprogrammed name or ID of the
calling radio.
You hear four alert tones, either once or
continuously, as programmed by your
dealer.
The LED flashes a single yellow for a group
call, or flashes a double yellow for an indi-
vidual call.
To answer the page, press the PTT button; to
cancel the page, press any other key.
Notes: Your radio displays only the last Call Alert
page received. Also, your radio does not
receive any Selective Calls until you clear
the page.
In LTR trunked mode, a Call Alert Page is
sent only if the system is available.

RADIO CHECK

Radio Check allows you to determine if a radio is
within the range of the trunked or conventional
&DOO 5HFHLYHG
system and turned on, without disturbing the user
of that radio. This feature can also be used when
attempts with Selective Call and Call Alert fail.
