Cordless Telephone 3740 for Avaya
Subscribe System
The cordless telephone can subscribe up to eight different systems. To subscribe a new
system the "Park:" (Portable Access Right Key) and "Ac:" (Authentication code) related to
the system you are going to log on to are needed. Contact your system administrator for
more information.
Note: The PARK code is not needed if the telephone shall be subscribed to one system only.
The IPDI code is a unique code which has been assigned to the cordless telephone, see also
9.2 Admin Menu
1 Select "Subscribe".
2 Enter System name (optional). If no system name is entered, the default name will be
used. That is System A, System B etc. depending on which system name that is
unused.
3 Press "Next".
4 Select System type: "Integral 5", "Integral Ent.", "Emulate D3 on IE", "IP-DECT", or
"Other".
5 Enter PARK code. Note: The PARK code is not needed if the telephone shall be
subscribed to one system only. PARK length value is max. 31. It is not necessary to
enter # after digits.
6 Enter AC code. The AC code length must be between 4 - 8 digits.
7 Press "Next".
An information text "Protection on?" is displayed.
8 Select "Yes" if the new system is to be protected. It is not possible to delete a
protected subscription
Unsubscribe System
1 Select "Unsubscribe" to delete a System subscription
2 Select "Delete".
Rename System
It is possible to change the name of the system in the telephone.
1 Select "Rename System".
2 Select system to rename.
3 Enter new name.
4 Select "Save".
Priority
The default order of priority is the order of entered subscriptions. This means that the first
subscribed system has the highest priority. This list can be edited by the user. It is possible
to set the systems in priority by moving them up or down in the list.
Note: This is used in combination with system set to be "Automatic", see
page 37.
1 Select "Priority".
1. It is not possible to unsubscribe a protected system via the telephone. The unsubscibtion must be made via PDM.
