Symptom 4: The water pressure relief valve leaks

OSSIBLE CAUSES
Cold water inlet pressure.
The field installed pressure relief
valve is not functioning properly.
Dirt is blocking the water pressure
relief valve outlet.

The strainer is blocked (eg. stainer of
hot water tap).
The field installed cold water inlet
pressure reducing valve is not fitted
properly.
Symptom 8: Water from hot taps is cold

The thermal cut-out located in the
domestic hot water tank module has
operated
The heat pump is not operating.
Symptom 9: Intermittent water discharge

OSSIBLE CAUSES
Thermal control failure (water will be
hot).
The field installed expansion vessel
is broken.

ORRECTIVE ACTION
Check the pressure reducing valve.
Check for correct operation of the
pressure relief valve by turning the
red knob on the valve counter
clockwise:
• If you do not hear a clacking sound,
contact your local dealer.
• In case the water keeps running out
of the unit, close both the water inlet
and outlet shut-off valves first and
then contact your local dealer.

ORRECTIVE ACTION
Flush or clean the domestic hot
water tank after periods of standstill.
It could occur that particles in the
water deposit on the bottom of the
tank. If this deposit layer becomes
thick enough it could enter the hot
water outlet and contaminate the hot
water.

Check that all shut off valves of the
water circuit are completely open.
Turn off the water supply, remove
and clean the strainer.

• Check and find the cause of tripping
and then reset button.
• Check if the thermistor is correctly
installed in the thermistor socket of
the heat pump module.
Procedure: remove front panel and
insulation, replace or fix the sensor.
Check the heat pump module
operation. Refer to the manual
delivered with the unit.
If any faults are suspected, contact
your local dealer.

13.4. Error codes

When a safety device is activated, the user interface LED will be
flashing, and an error code will be displayed.
A list of all errors and corrective actions can be found in the table
below.
Reset the safety by pushing the Y button.
In case this procedure for resetting the safety is not successful,
contact your local dealer.
