APTC Motor

Traditionally called the Platen Gap Motor, APTC stands for "Automatic Paper Thickness Control". The APTC Motor
is a 4 wire stepper motor that is used to detect the paper thickness. It also is used to set the platen gap (the air gap
between the paper and the nose of the print head). The APTC Home Position (HP) Sensor detects that the platen
gap is at its widest point. The APTC Sensor detects the paper thickness.
