Warning messages

If a warning message is displayed after the measurement, you can still save the measurement results.
However, we recommend you perform YPAO again in order to use this unit with the optimal speaker settings.

Cause
A speaker cable may be connected with the
reverse polarity (+/-).
A speaker is placed more than 24 m (80 ft) from
the listening position
There are significant volume differences
between the speakers.

Optimizing the speaker settings automatically (YPAO)
Remedy
check the cable connections (+/–) of the
speakers.
If the speaker is connected incorrectly, turn off
this unit and then reconnect the speaker cable.
Depending on the type of speakers or room
environment, this message may appear even if
the speakers are connected correctly. In this
case, you can ignore the message.
Move the speaker within 24m (80 ft) of the
listening position.
Check the usage environment and cable
connections (+/–) of each speaker, and the
volume of the subwoofer. We recommend using
the same speakers or speakers with
specifications that are as similar as possible.
