IP Address
Configures the network parameters (such as IP address).
DHCP
Select whether to use a DHCP server.
Does not use a DHCP server. Configure the
network parameters manually. For details, see
Off
"Manual network settings".
Uses a DHCP server to automatically obtain the
On (Default)
unit's network parameters (such as IP address).
Manual network settings

Set "DHCP" to "Off".

Use the cursor keys (B / C) to select a
parameter type.
Specifies an IP address.
IP
Specifies a subnet mask.
SUBNET
Specifies the IP address of the default gateway.
GATEWAY
Specifies the IP address of the primary DNS
DNS P
server.
Specifies the IP address of the secondary DNS
DNS S
server.

Use the cursor keys (D / E) to select the edit
position.

(Example: IP address setting)
Use the cursor keys (D / E) to switch between
segments (Address1, Address2...) of the address.

Use the Cursor keys (B / C) to change a
value.

To exit from the menu, press SETUP.
DMC Control
Selects whether to allow DLNA-compatible Digital Media
Controller (DMC) to control playback.
Does not allow DMCs to control playback.
Disable
Enable
Allows DMCs to control playback.
(Default)
Note
A Digital Media Controller (DMC) is a device that can control
other network devices through the network. When this function is
enabled, you can control playback of the unit from DMCs (such
as Windows Media Player 12) on the same network.
Configuring various functions (Setup menu)
Standby (Network Standby)
Selects whether the unit can be turned on from other
network devices (network standby).
Disables the network standby function.
Off
Enables the network standby function. (The unit
consumes more power than when "Off" is
On
selected.)
Enables the network standby function. The unit is
Auto
set to the power saving mode when the unit is
(Default)
disconnected from the network.
With an advanced energy saving design, this product achieves
a low power consumption of not more than two watts when in
Network Standby mode.

Network Name

Edits the network name (the unit's name on the network)
displayed on other network devices.

Select "Network Name" and press ENTER.

Use the cursor keys (D / E) to move the edit
position and the cursor keys (B / C) to select
a character.

You can insert / delete a character, by pressing
PRESET i (insert) or PRESET j (delete).

To confirm the new name, press ENTER.

To exit from the menu, press SETUP.
