Decoding Autoexposure

Select Enable Decoding Autoexposure to allow the imager to control gain settings and exposure (integration)
time to best capture an image for the selected operation mode.
Select Disable Decoding Autoexposure to manually adjust the gain and exposure time (see
Time on the following pages). Only advanced users with difficult image capture situations should use this option.

Decoding Illumination

Parameter # F0h, 2Ah
Selecting Enable Decoding Illumination causes the imager to flash illumination on every image capture to aid
decoding. Select Disable Decoding Illumination to prevent the imager from using decoding illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of the illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
