This section describes connecting the access point to PoE.
Warning:
For connections outside the building where the equipment is installed, the following ports must be
connected through an approved network termination unit with integral circuit protection.

Connecting to the PoE IN or PoE OUT Port

Use shielded cables with a M12 X-Code plug to connect to the PoE IN or PoE OUT ports.
Note:
Ethernet cables must have an internal shield around the signal wires. There must be a contiguous ground
between the connector shell that interfaces with the IW3702 and the connector shell on the far end of the cable.
Maximum cable length should not exceed 100 meters.

Connect the PoE IN cable to the PoE IN port, or the PoE OUT cable to the PoE OUT port by turning the cable
clockwise, as shown in
