I Press the "Spotlight" button again within 3 seconds from
first pressing it; by pressing the button after 3 seconds the se-
quence restarts from the "random fading mode".
Selecting desired massage action
Some models are equipped with a selector that allows you to customise
theperformanceofthehottubbydivertingwaterbetweenvariousjetsys-
tems (- position A (Combo), B or C).
For effective water filtration - and during "super chlorination" or "shock"

position B or C for maximum jet performance during spa use.
Adjusting Individual Jet Flow
The water flow of some jets can be adjusted by turning the
outside of the nozzle.
Many jets are also equipped with a direction adjustment mod-
ule, so that you can aim the jet in the desired position.
N.B.: always keep at least 6 jets open so as to ensure efficient wa-
ter filtering.
Air controls
Some jets have a dedicated air control function: just turn the
knob to increase or decrease the amount of air.
To minimize heat loss, all air controls should be closed when the
spa is not in use. Certain jets may not draw air when jets pump
1 is running in low speed; this is considered normal.
Hot tub stereo system (optional, J-215 -> J-280 mod.)
These models are equipped with a Bluetooth® receiver with
an Aux jack and four speakers.

Filter cycles

I The control system activates a programmable "standard" or
"economy" skimming/heating cycle. These cycles utilize pump
#1 and the filter cartridge to clean the water quickly and mini-
mize their "bath-tub ring" effect.
Standard Filtration/Heating Modes
Standard filtration/heating modes (F1-F3) are typically se-
lected by customers in cold climates where heat up times are
extended due to lower ambient temperatures. In these modes,
the low-speed pump and heater will come on as necessary to
maintain the set temperature 24 hours a day. The low speed
pump will run continuously during the filtration/heating cycles
with the heater coming on as necessary to maintain the set
temperature.
Economy Filtration/Heating Modes (All Models)
Economy filtration/heating modes (F4-F6) are typically se-
lected by customers in warm climates where heat up times are
minimized due to higher ambient temperatures. Under these
conditions, the water temperature is adjusted only during a
filtering/heating cycle.
NOTE: These modes can be used to conserve energy while on
vacation or out of town for several weeks since heater operation
is minimized. During such times, you can also minimize the spa
set temperature to maximize energy savings!
Lock Modes (L1 - L3)
These modes are designed for use during spa service or to prevent
unauthorized use.
Economy skimming/heating modes
I On the control panel, simultaneously hold down both buttons
( + ) and ( - ) and release.
Press either button ( + ) or ( - ) to select respectively the filter-
ing/heating mode or lock modes L1-L2-L3 described below:
Filtering mode
I During the filtration/heating cycle the Jets pump 1 low
speed will activate. To set the starting time for the first filtra-
tion/heating cycle, simply start the hot tub two minutes before
the desired time. Example: If you desire your first filtra-
tion/heating cycle to begin at 10:00 AM turn off power to the s-
pa and turn it back on again at 9:58 AM. You can also press the
Warmer, Cooler and Jets Pump 1 buttons simultaneously for 2
seconds to restart the spa.
NOTE: Start time is approximate and may vary slightly
In models with two pumps, the second pump is also activated
for about a minute, in order to free the pipes from any obsta-
cles; after that, only pump 1 remains active for the entire dura-
tion of the cycle.
NOTE: This function only occurs during the first filtration/heating
cycle each day.
I Standard" filtration/heating mode (F1-F3)
(the heater is automatically activated if necessary)
F1: 4 hours of skimming/heating per day
(one 2-hour cycle every twelve hours)
F2: 6 hours of skimming/heating per day
(one 2-hour cycle every eight hours)
F3: 8 hours of skimming/heating per day
(one 2-hour cycle every six hours; factory setting)
I Economy" filtration/heating mode (F4-F6)
(the heater is activated only during the filtering cycles)
