Please check that none of the parts are missing immediately
on unpacking:
– Telephone set and telephone cable
– These operating instructions
Placing the telephone
– Select a place which will not allow using the telephone in
wet areas such as the bath tub, the shower or the wash
basin.
– Protect your telephone from direct sunlight.
– Choose a non-skid surface for your telephone. Varnish
and polish used on your furniture may contain substances
that will macerate the feet of your telephone. The macer-
ated feet of the set may leave undesirable marks on the
furniture's surface.
Avaya cannot assume liability for such damage.
Wall mounting
Depending on the model, your Integral E3 analog is also
suitable for mounting on the wall. Installation may only be
carried out by a technician. You will find assembly instruc-
tions with the title "Wall mounted telephone – Integral E3" in
our document database on the Internet at www.avaya.co.uk.
Connecting the modem (DTMF)
(only for model "E3 analog with modem socket")
Let corresponding plug of connecting cable engage in the
modem socket (1).
Also observe the information on connection contained in the
operating manual of your modem!
