REP 1.1: WorkCentre Cover

Removal
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Remove the scanner paper guide.
3. Remove the printer cover.
4. Remove the clear paper out guide.
5. Remove the paper cassette.
a. Push down on both green paper cassette
retaining tabs.
b. Allow the cassette to fall away from the
machine, and set aside.
6. Remove the two self tapping screws at the
rear of the unit.
a. Remove the screw to the right of the A/C
input connector.
b. Remove the screw to the right of the
printer port.
7. Remove the machine cover.
a. Locate the two slots underneath the
machine at the front.

b. Use a flat blade screwdriver, and gently pry
out to release the tab on each side.
c. Place the machine on a level surface, and lift
the cover back and away from the chassis.
This concludes the Machine Cover REP.
Replacement
Replacement is generally the reverse of removal.
However, make sure the vacuum tubes at the
pump are not stretched or pinched during
machine cover installation.
