Managing Multiple Calendars

You might have multiple calendars, just as you might have several e-mail
accounts. Do you have multiple calendars? How can you have multiple cal-
endars? It's easy: For each e-mail that you "hook" into your BlackBerry (see
Chapter 7), your BlackBerry automatically adds a new calendar. Why is
having multiple calendars useful? Consider this example: You might have a
calendar from your day job and a calendar from your personal life or a soft-
ball club that you belong to. Whatever the reason, your BlackBerry Storm has
a great way for you to manage this.
You can assign different color squares to represent different calendars. This
color-coding gives you a better view of which event belongs to which calen-
dar, as shown in Figure 5-6. For example, you can have your day job calendar
as red and your softball club calendar as green. When two events conflict, the
color helps you see the conflict and prioritize. (It's okay to admit that it's all
about your softball club!)

Follow these steps to change the color of each calendar:
1. Open Calendar.
2. Press the menu key and touch-press Options.
You see a list of calendars here, in addition to a few options.
3. Touch-press a calendar of your choice.
The Calendar Properties screen opens.
