The types of application data that can be synchronized to your Storm are
✓ Calendar: Synchronize the appointments and events stored in your
favorite PIM application.
✓ MemoPad: Synchronize any notes or text that you have been storing in
your PIM application.
✓ Address Book: Synchronize any contact information with your Storm.
✓ Tasks: Synchronize your to-do list.
Follow these steps to set up your device's synchronization:
1. Connect your Storm to BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
2. Click the Synchronize icon and then click the Synchronization link.
(The Synchronization link is below the Configuration link on the left side
of the screen; refer to Figure 15-5, earlier in this chapter.)
3. Click the Synchronization button.
4. Select the check box next to the application data type (Calendar,
MemoPad, Address Book, or Tasks) that you want to synchronize.
For this example, select the Calendar application data type.
5. Click the Setup button.
This opens the screen for the application — in this case, the Calendar
Setup screen.
