What you should do
Manually set the ring speed in the Local
(NVRAM) settings of the NS Boot utility,
or in the IBM Network Station Manager
program.
Verify that there are no problems with
the network, and restart the Network
Station. If this does not resolve the
problem, replace the Network Station
logic unit, or PCI adapter card (see
"Chapter 2. Replacing Network Station
parts" on page 9).
Verify that you connected the network
cable to the Network Station correctly.
