CHARGING SYSTEM

A. C generator
◉ ◉ INSPECTION
▣ ▣ MAGNETO
Using the pocket tester, measure the resistance
between the lead wires in the following table.
If the resistance is not within the specified value,
replace the stator coil, with a new one.
Stator coil resistance
Pick-up coil
Charging coil
Pocket Tester : 09900-25002
Tester knob indication : Resistance ( Ϊ Ϊ )
CAUTION
When mounting the stator on magneto cover,
apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1324"
to the threaded parts of screws.
