on the Digital Monitor.
a
The water temperature
can now be
selected
using the Bath Control.
The maximum temperature
which
can be selected
at the Bath Control
is 50%.
This is to help reduce the
risk of burns from hot water.
A different temperature
can be
stored in the system memory of
the Bath and Kitchen
Controls.
Burns from hot tap water can result
in very severe injuries to young
children.
Hot water at 65'C (the average hot
water temperature
in Australia)
can
severely
burn a child in less than
half a second.
At 50°C it takes five
minutes.
Burns can happen when children
turn on the hot water tap and they
are under it, or when they are placed
into a bath which is too hot.
