CUTTERDECK POSITION CONTROL

The cutterdecks may be raised or lowered using the bank of 3 lift control
levers.
To lower the cutterdecks, operate the lift control levers in a downward
direction until locked in position 1. If the cutterdeck drive switch is in the
'ON' position, the cutterblade will engage when the cutterdecks are
approximately 300mm above ground level.
IMPORTANT: PREVENT DAMAGE - The lift control levers must be
locked in position 1 while mowing. NEVER mow with the lift control
levers in position 2 (neutral).
To raise the cutterdecks, operate the lift control levers in an upward direction
and hold in position 3. If the cutterdeck drive switch is in the 'ON' position,
the cutterblade will disengage when the cutterdecks are approximately
300mm above ground level.

return to position 2 (neutral).

CUTTERDECK DRIVE ENGAGEMENT

The cutterdeck drive can be engaged only when the operator is
seated correctly, refer - OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROLS.
Briefly operate the lift control levers to raise the cutterdecks,
thereby removing the cutterdeck suspension deadweights and wing
units stored energy reaction from the transport latch mechanisms.
Release the cutterdeck latches. Operate the cutterdeck position
controls to the down / float position and lower all cutterdecks to
the ground ready for mowing.
Forward rotation cutterdeck drive engagement : Operate the
cutterdeck drive switch to the 'On' position.
To disengage all cutterdeck drives : Operate the cutterdeck drive
switch to the 'Off' position.
