Transmission neutral interlock switch:
Stop the engine and engage the parking brake. Ensure that the drive pedal is in the stop (neutral) posi-
tion and turn the ignition key to position 'I'. The transmission neutral indicator light should illuminate.
Refer - OPERATING THE MOWER.
Depress the drive pedal. The indicator light should go out and the engine should not start when the igni-
tion key is turned. Carry out a similar check with the reverse travel pedal.
Note: The transmission neutral and parking brake indicator lights are connected in such a way that the
transmission neutral light will illuminate only when the drive pedal is in the stop (neutral) position and
the parking brake is engaged.
Should any indicator lights fail to illuminate when expected, check for blown bulbs or fuses.
