CUTTERDECK GENERAL INFORMATION
HEIGHT OF CUT ADJUSTMENT - L.H/R.H CUTTERDECKS
To adjust the height of cut on the LH and RH cutterdecks follow the procedure below. Ensure that the mower
is stationary on a level surface with the parking brake engaged and the cutterdeck drive disengaged.
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS – Never adjust the height of cut with the engine running.
Read all of these instructions before commencing
1.
Disengage the LH deck transport latch and lower the cutterdeck on to suitable supports so that it is safely
supported approximately 130mm from the ground.
2.
Remove the HOC positioning bolts on the castor support beam. Lift or lower the castor wheel support beam
and replace the bolts in the appropriate holes to achieve the desired HOC. For bolt positions refer to the HOC
decal on the deck or to the picture in this manual.
3.
Tighten these bolts but do not overtighten.
4.
Start the engine. Raise the LH cutterdeck and engage the transport latch. Switch off the engine and remove
the ignition key.
5.
Remove the inner wheel assembly fixing bolts and reposition to achieve the desired HOC. For some HOC
setting the castor wheel must be repositioned in its carrier. For bolt positions refer to the HOC decal on the
deck or to the picture in this manual.
6.
Tighten these bolts.
7.
Repeat this procedure for the RH cutterdeck.
8.
The attitude of the wing decks can be adjusted. To raise the rear of the deck, the spacers above the rear cas-
tor pivot bush can be repositioned under the pivot bush. This will raise the rear of the deck.
