Restarting the ONA
Restart the ONA by disconnecting and then reconnecting power as
described below:
If the ONA is connected to a PoE capable network switch,
disconnect the Ethernet cable connected to the RJ-45 port
with the cloud symbol. Wait at least 45 seconds and then
reconnect it.
If the ONA is connected to an external power adapter,
disconnect it for at least 45 seconds and then reconnect it.
Running diagnostics on the ONA
Use the diagnostics to verify that the ONA is operating properly.
To enter Diagnostics, use following procedure:
1.
Disconnect the ONA from the network switch and any device
it may be attached to.
2.
Use an Ethernet cable to connect the ONA Device port to its
Network port, as a loopback is required to run diagnostics.
