The washer-disinfector provides the
option of documenting the cleaning
processes (process documentation).
External process documentation
software or an internal or external
printer can be used for process
documentation.
Network connection
A 5 m long interface cable is included
for connecting the washer-disinfector
with suitable network components (e.g.
hub, switch).
It is connected to the Profitronic
Ethernet interface and is rolled up in the
control cabinet of the
washer-disinfector.
Only Miele Technical Service may
connect the cable to another
interface.
Serial interface
The cable may also be used to connect
the washer-disinfector to an external
device via the Profitronic RS 232
interface. An RJ45 / Sub-D adapter
plug is included.
For instructions on how to configure
the interface, refer to the section on
PC/Print functions in the
Programming Manual.

Process documentation

If connecting a printer or PC, please
note the following:
– Only use an industry-standard PC
(IEC 60950).
– Select a printer or PC that is suited to
the
installation location
– The maximum length for an extension
cable from the serial interface to the
printer or PC is 10 m and from the
Ethernet interface 100 m.
– A crossover cable is required for
direct connection between the
washer-disinfector and a PC.

Miele Customer Service.
