Serial Responses
The DN-V755 responds to any command that it receives.
If the command is successful, the DN-V755 sends an "acknowledge" message that begins
with $r followed by the original command.

If the command is not successful, the DN-V755 generates an error message that begins with
$er followed by the original command and a numeric error code.

Note There is no space between $er and the command, but there is a space before the
error code.
