Quick Guide to the Media Browser

The Media Browser contains the following tools and options:
Filter options
Sort by name
and type
Media type icons
Refresh
If a file that you recently added to the Content folder does not appear on the Media Browser
list, click
Note If the file still does not appear on the list, it may be an unsupported file type. See
Types of Media Files Can I Use?
Filter
By default, all of the media files in the Content folder are displayed in the Media Browser. If
you have a lot of media files, you may be able to find a specific file more quickly if you filter
the list.
To filter the list, select a radio button in the Show area at the top of the Media Browser to
display only the types of files that you want to see.
•
All – Show all of the media files stored in the Content folder
•
Video – Show video (with audio) files
•
Audio – Show audio-only files
•
Photos and picture-only video – Show photo and video (no audio) files
•
Outputs – Show outputs only (used for triggering external events)
Sort
By default, the Media Browser lists files in alphabetical order by name.

To sort by file type, click the Type link.
•
To sort by name, click the Name link.
