General Settings and Version Numbers

The Settings screen also provides access to general settings and information about the
current software version.
General settings include:
Key Lock – Renders the front panel buttons inoperative. When Key Lock is turned on,
playback and playlist selection can be controlled only through the user interface
application.
Video Mute – Hides the picture (screen goes black) but still plays audio track.
Audio Mute – Mutes the sound for all types of files; the picture is still visible.
Logging – Creates an activity log in the Log folder. See
page 17 for information on the Log folder.
1. Open the user application, and then select the SETTINGS tab.
2. On the Settings menu on the left side of the screen, select General.
3. In the General Settings screen, select the radio buttons to turn on or turn off your use
settings preferences for Key Lock, Video Mute, Audio Mute, and Logging.
Note The settings are applied immediately – no restart is required.
