Installing a redundant power supply

You can install a second 920-watt hot-swap power supply. This upgrade option
includes a hot-swap power supply. You must also purchase a second power cord to
connect the power supply to a power source.
To install the redundant power option, complete the following steps:
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and "Installation guidelines"
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords.
3. Remove the power-supply filler from the second power-supply bay.
4. Slide the new power supply partially into the empty power-supply bay. Pinch the

To complete the installation, complete the following steps:
