If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidentally start the engine and
seriously injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition before you do any maintenance.

Jacking the Sprayer

Whenever you run the engine for routine maintenance
and/or engine diagnostics, support the rear wheels of the
sprayer 1 inch (25 mm) off the ground with the rear axle on
jack stands.
Danger
A sprayer on a jack may be unstable and slip off of
the jack, injuring anyone beneath it.
• Do not start the engine while the sprayer is on a
jack.
• Always remove the key from the ignition before
getting off the sprayer.
• Block the tires when the sprayer is on a jack.
Caution
The jacking point at the front of the sprayer is under the
front axle, directly under the leaf springs (Fig. 28)
