Maintenance

Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position. Before performing any
maintenance, ensure that the system has been thoroughly rinsed and cleaned. Refer to Cleaning the Spray System on page 24.

Maintenance Procedure
• Check the air filter, cap, and valve for wear or damage.
• Check the engine oil.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check the engine coolant level.
• Check the hydraulic oil level.
• Clean the suction strainer.
• Initial break-in service only: Check the fan/alternator belt, torque the wheel lug
nuts, replace the hydraulic oil filter, and change the rear planetary gearbox fluid.
• Check the battery cable connections.
• Lubricate all grease fittings, including the booms.
• Initial break-in service only: Change the engine oil (includes synthetic oil) and
replace the engine oil filter.
• Check the fuel pipes and clamps.
• Change the engine oil (including synthetic oil).
• Replace the engine oil filter.
• Check the cooling system hoses for wear or damage.

• Service the air cleaner.
• Check the fan and alternator belts.
• Inspect the condition and wear of the tires.
• Torque the wheel lug nuts.
• Check the front wheel toe-in.
• Clean the radiator fins.
• Initial break-in service only: Pack the front wheel bearings.
• Drain the fuel filter/water separator.
• Change the hydraulic oil.
• Replace the hydraulic oil filter.
• Inspect the fuel lines, pipes, and clamps.
• Replace the fuel filter.
• Inspect the pump diaphragm and replace it if necessary.
• Inspect the pressure dampener bladder and replace it if necessary.
• Inspect the pump check valves and replace them if necessary.
• Inspect the o-rings in the valve assemblies and replace them if necessary.
• Change the rear planetary gearbox fluid.
• Check the coolant (as directed by the manufacturer) and change if necessary.
• Drain and clean the fuel tank.
• Pack the front wheel bearings.
