Replacing the Warning Decal
for CE Compliance
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Warning decal
Procedure
On machines requiring European CE Compliance, replace
the warning decal, part no. 112–5297 with the warning decal
part no. 112-5298.

Installing the Hood Latch (CE
Only)
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Lock bracket
2 Rivet
1 Washer
1 Screw, 1/4 x 2 inches
1 Locknut, 1/4 inch
Procedure
1. Unhook the hood latch from the hood latch bracket.
2. Remove the (2) rivets securing the hood latch bracket
to the hood (Figure 3). Remove the hood latch bracket
from the hood.

3. While aligning the mounting holes, position the CE
lock bracket and the hood latch bracket onto the hood.
The lock bracket must be against the hood (Figure 4).
Do not remove bolt and nut assembly from the lock
bracket arm.

4. Align the washers with the holes on the inside of the
hood.
5. Rivet the brackets and the washers to the hood (Figure
4).
6. Hook the latch onto the hood latch bracket (Figure 5).
