Using only the FL-40 external flash

You can select whether to use only the external flash or use the built-in flash
and external flash together. When you are using the external flash, you can
specify that the built-in flash does not fire to avoid depleting the camera's bat-
teries.

bracket. Then fasten it to the
camera's tripod socket and
use the dedicated bracket
cable to connect the flash
bracket to the 5-Pin external
flash socket on the camera.
