6 Open the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid.
7 Add one measuring scoop of pre-ground coff ee into the compartment.
Use only the measuring scoop supplied with the machine. Then close
the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid.
Warning:
Add only pre-ground coff ee into the pre-ground coff ee compartment.
Other substances and objects may cause severe damage to the ma-
chine. This repair is not covered by your warranty!
8 Press the " " button. After the prebrewing cycle, coff ee begins to pour
out of the coff ee dispensing spout.

Coff ee brewing automatically stops when the preset level is reached;
however, you can stop it earlier by pressing the same button of the
selected beverage.
After brewing, the machine returns to the main menu.
Repeat the steps described above to brew more cups of coff ee using pre-
ground coff ee.
Note:
If no pre-ground coff ee is poured into the compartment, only water will be
dispensed.
If the dose is excessive or if 2 or more measuring scoops have been added,
the machine will discharge the excess pre-ground coff ee into the coff ee
grounds drawer. The brewing length cannot be saved for pre-ground cof-
fee.
Note:
This function remains active for 30 seconds. Then the machine resets the
selection and goes back to the earlier status.
