5 Service

5.1 Installing the Swingaway Padded Armrest
Socket
WARNING!
– After any adjustments, repair or service and before
use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened
securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
– Do not attempt to lift or tilt a wheelchair by using
any removable (detachable) parts. Lifting by means
of any removable (detachable) parts of a wheelchair
may result in injury to the user or damage to the
wheelchair.

1. Remove or fold down the back. Refer to 5.4 Removing/Installing
the Back Frame, page 62.
2. Insert mounting bolt A into the mounting hole B at the desired
height on the swingaway padded armrest socket C and secure
with the locknut.
Install the swingaway padded armrest D. Refer to 5.2

Attach the left and right swingaway arm mounting hardware E

to the swingaway padded armrest sockets C using the four
mounting screws and locknuts F. Tighten securely.
