MultiLink Trunks

MultiLink trunks allow you to group up to four switch ports together to form a
link to another switch or server, thus increasing aggregate throughput of the
interconnection between the devices (up to 800 Mb/s in full-duplex mode).
BayStack 350 switches can be configured with up to six MultiLink trunks.
MultiLink Trunking software detects misconfigured (or broken) trunk links and
redirects traffic on the misconfigured or broken trunk link to other trunk members
within that trunk.
You can use the Trunk Configuration screen to create switch-to-switch and
switch-to-server MultiLink trunk links (see
Figure 1-31
and S3.
