Reset App Preferences
This feature provides you with the ability to reset all preferences for the following features: Disabled apps, Disabled
app notifications, Default applications for actions, and Background data restrictions.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap the ALL tab to display all available applications.
3. Press
Menu and then tap Reset app preferences g Reset apps.
Note: As an example, if you assigned your browser to always launch YouTube links and want that changed, you
must reset the default actions.

Default Applications

This option allows you to both quickly view and access the a listing of current functions being defaulted to
particular apps. From this menu you can also change the default assignments.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap an available on‑screen category entry.
3. Follow the on‑screen prompts to select a different default application. Ex: changing Message default
functionality from Messages to Hangouts.

Users

This menu allows you to add additional user profiles to your device. The new user account can have either full or
restricted access.
Note: Up to 8 profiles can be enabled on the tablet.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Tap an existing user profile to alter the associated profile properties.
3. Tap
to add another entry, or
● Tap
Photo ID to choose a picture to identify the contact.
● Tap Name to enter a name for the contact. Tap
● Touch Phone number to enter a phone number, and then tap
● Tap Email address to enter an email address, and then tap
● Tap Add another field to add more fields, including Phonetic Name, Organization, IM, Address, Notes,
Nickname, Website, Events, or Relationship.
4. When you finish entering information, tap Save.
Adding a New User
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
Add user
2. Tap
and select an availble account type:
● User: This account ype is allows a user access to their own apps and content.
● Restricted profile: Provides limited access to apps and content.
3. Read the on‑screen disclaimer and tap OK.
4. Complete the set up process by tapping Set up now to confirm available access.
5. Tap the entry and configure the account parameters such as name, picture, numbers, etc..

Battery

View what is using battery power.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap Battery to view battery usage for apps and services.
3. Tap an item for more information, or to configure options for managing power use.

Power Saving Mode

Configure Power saving mode to conserve battery power.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap ON/OFF to enable the feature.
3. Configure the available options:
● CPU performance: Limit the maximum performance of the CPU (Central Processing Unit). This does not
affect normal usage, such as browsing and video playback.
● Screen output: Use low power level for the screen.
● Turn off haptic feedback: Turn off haptic feedback to extend battery life.

Storage

Manage the use of memory resources in your tablet's memory and on an optional memory card (not included).
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap Storage to view information about memory usage and options:
● Device memory: View memory usage for the different types of information stored on your tablet's memory.
Touch an item for more information.
● SD card: View total space and available space on an optional memory card (not included).
Viewing Memory Allocation
1. From a Home screen, tap

displays under the Total space and SD card headings.
Important! DO NOT remove a microSD card while the device is accessing or transferring files. Doing so will
result in loss or damage of data. Make sure your battery is fully charged before using the microSD
card. Your data may become damaged or lost if the battery runs out while you are using the
microSD card.
Mounting the SD Card
To store photos, music, videos, and other applications. You must mount (install) the SD card prior to use. Mounting
the SD card establishes a USB connection with your computer.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap Mount SD card.
Unmounting the SD card
Unmounting the SD card prevents corruption and damage to the SD card while removing it from the slot.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Tap Unmount SD card g OK.
3. After the "SD card will be unmounted" message displays and the Mount SD card pop up now appears in
the menu list, remove the SD card.
