S Voice

Use voice commands to perform common operations on your tablet, and to speak criteria for searches and other
operations. Just speak naturally, and S Voice understands what you're looking for. Use S Voice to find everything
from directions to trivia answers to the current weather forecast.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Say "Hi Galaxy", or tap
to wake up S Voice; then speak a command or question.
Locate the right of the screen indicating a list of commands; then tap a command to see examples.
3. Tap
Menu g Settings for options.
Tip: You can launch S Voice from most unlocked screens by pressing
Settings g Open via the home key.
Examples:
● Tap
and say "Find me the best Pizza". This launches an Internet search.
● Tap
and say "Navigate to Cambridge". This launches the Map application and indicates where this
is in relation to your current position.
To set S Voice to be always listening:
1. With S Voice running, tap
Menu g Settings.
2. Under Wake up, tap Wake up command to enable this feature.

S Translator

Allows you can easily translate words and phrases (verbal or text messages) into many different languages.
Note: Access to this feature requires that you already be logged in to your Samsung account application.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Follow the on‑screen installation instructions.

Samsung Apps

Allows you to easily download an abundance of applications that are directly compatible with your device.
This includes games, news, reference, social networking, navigation, and more. Samsung Apps makes your
Smartphone smarter.
Note: Access to this feature requires that you already be logged in to your Samsung account application. For
more information, refer to "Creating a Samsung Account" on page 18.
1. Confirm you are currently signed into your Samsung account.
2. From a Home screen, tap

3. If prompted, read the Disclaimer, Terms and conditions, and Privacy policy and tap Accept.
4. Tap Accept if prompted to allow Google to check your currently installed application for unsafe behavior.
5. Follow the on‑screen instructions.

Scrapbook

Combine documents, images, and music into a digital scrapbook.

Samsung Link

This application wirelessly synchronizes your Samsung mobile phone with your TV, streams content and even
keeps tabs on who calls or sends text messages with real‑time, on‑screen monitoring. Samsung's Samsung Link
makes staying connected easy. Allows users to share their in‑device media content with other external devices
using DLNA certified™ (Digital Living Network Alliance) Devices. These external devices must also be DLNA‑
compliant. Wi‑Fi capability can be provided to TVs via a digital multimedia streamer.

Settings

This icon navigates to the sound and tablet settings for your tablet. It includes such settings as: display, security,
memory, and any extra settings associated with your tablet.

SketchBook for Galaxy is a professional‑grade paint and drawing application optimized for use with S Pen.

Organize your photos and create albums based on specific events. Apply themes and arrange your photos in
various layouts. You can then print the photos into albums through an online service and hold the memories in your
hand.
