Adding a Song to a Playlist
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps g
2. Tap the Playlist tab to open it, then select the Songs tab.
3. Touch and hold a song (to dettach it), and then drag it on to a playlist.

While playing a song playing at full screen,
selected song to it, or touch Create playlist to create a new playlist and add the selected song to it.
Adding Multiple Songs to a Playlist
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Tap
Create playlist g [name of playlist].
3. Tap
Add song next to a song to add it to the playlist, or select Add all.
4. Tap Done.

My Files

Find, view and manage files stored on your device or an installed memory card. Touch a file to open it in an
associated application, if available.

NYTimes

Read the latest Web edition of The New York Times newspaper.

Photos

This application (also known as Google Photos) provide a means for automatically backing up your photos and
videos to a centralized Google cloud location.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. If prompted, tap Sign in to complete the registration process, or tap Not now to continue using the product
without registration.
3. Follow the on‑screen prompts to configure a connection method and other related parameters.

Play Books

Formerly known as Google Books, this application allows you to read over 3 million ebooks on the go.
Build your ebooks library in the cloud with Play Books: jump right into a bestseller or select from available ebooks.
Personalize the reader to your liking, pick up reading where you left off on your phone or computer, and settle
down with a great book on your Android phone!
Note: You must logged into your Google account prior to using this feature.

3. Follow the on‑screen prompts to download the ebook to your device.

Play Games

This application takes you directly to the Play Store Games area from where you can make purchases.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Select from an available on‑screen option.
Play Movies & TV
This application allows you to connect to the Play Store, download a movie and then watch it instantly.
Choose from thousands of movies, including new releases and HD titles in the Play Store and stream them
instantly on your Android device. Movies, previously rented via the Play Store are automatically added to your My
Movies library across your devices.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Log on to your Google account if you have not already done so. A list of videos sorted on the SD card
displays in the Video list.
3. Following the on‑screen instructions for renting and viewing movies.

Play Music

Also known as Google Music, allows you to browse, shop, and playback songs purchased from the Play Store. The
music you choose is automatically stored in your Google Music library and instantly ready to play or download.
The Music application contains a music player that plays music and other audio files that you copy from your
computer.
1. From a Home screen, tap

The Music app searches both your online library and your device's internal storage for music and
playlists; this can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the amount of new music
added since you last opened the application. It then displays a carousel view of your new and recent
music, organized by album.
2. If prompted to join the service, select either Add account or Not now.
3. Follow the on‑screen log in screens.
4. Return to the Library screen from most other screens in the Music application by tapping the Music
application icon

Searching for Music in Your Library
1. From within the Play Music application, tap
2. Type the name of an artist, album, song, or playlist.
Matching songs are displayed in a list below the search box.
3. Tap a matching song to play it, tap a matching album, artist or playlist to view a list of its' songs.
