● Edit: Edit the photo.
● Favorite: Mark the photo or video as a favorite.
● Slideshow: View a slideshow of your photos and videos.
● Photo frame: Add a decorative frame to the photo.
● Photo note: Write a note on the 'back' of the photo.
● Copy to clipboard: Place the photo on the clipboard for pasting into other apps.
● Print: Print the photo to a compatible Samsung Wi‑Fi printer (not included).
● Rename: Rename the photo or video.
● Buddy photo share: Share the photo with people tagged in the photo.
● Rotate left: Rotate the photo 90 degree to the left.
● Rotate right: Rotate the photo 90 degree to the right.
● Crop: Crop the photo.
● Set as: Set the photo as a Contact photo, or as wallpaper for the Home screen and Lock screen.
● Details: View file details about the photo or video.
● Settings:
— SNS data management: Enable Sync only via Wi-Fi to only sync photos and videos when connected to a
Wi‑Fi network.
— Tags: Enable Tag buddy and Face tag. Tag buddy identifies each photo with information such as the
weather, location, people in the photo, or date created. Face tag scans each photo to detect people's
faces, which you can then tag with their name.
— Sound & shot: Enable Auto play sound to automatically play the recorded sound when viewing pictures
taken in Sound & shot mode.
Zoom In or Out on a Photo
There are two ways you can zoom in or out of a photo.
► Touch the screen twice quickly to zoom in and then touch the screen twice quickly again to zoom out.

You can also use "pinch" and "spread" gestures to zoom in or out. For more information, refer to "Using
the Touch Screen" on page 11.
Editing a Photo
You can edit your photos using the built‑in Photo editor application on your device. The photo editor application
provides basic editing functions for pictures that you take on your phone. Along with basic image tuning like
brightness, contrast, and color it also provides a wide variety of effects used for editing the picture.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. Select a folder location and tap a file to open it.
3. With the image displayed, tap
Menu g Edit to launch the photo editor.
4. Touch and hold the image then select an option:
● Selection mode: Provides several onscreen selection options such as: Select area, Inverse selection,
Selection size, and Selection mode (Magnetic, Lasso, Brush, Round, and Square).
● Select all: Select the entire area of the current image.
● Clipboard: Place the photo on the clipboard for pasting into other apps.
5. Use the following editor controls to edit your picture:
Undo: Undo the last action.
Redo: Redo the last action.
Cancel: Close the currently displayed photo.

Save: Save this photo to the memory card.

Rotate: Rotate a photo in all 4 directions. You can also mirror image the photo.
Crop: Crop (cut‑out) an area of a photo.
Color: Auto adjustment, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Adjust RGB,
Temperature, Exposure, and Hue of a photo.
Effect: Add various effects to your photo.
Sticker: Place various pre‑created onscreen stickers on top the of current
image.
Drawing: Draw on the picture using a brush, pen, or eraser.
Frame: Place a pre‑created border style on top of the current image.
6. Tap
Menu to access the following options:
● Select image: Select a new image for editing.
● Take picture: Activate the camera and take a new image for editing.
● Share via: Select a sharing method to share your saved photo and follow the onscreen instructions.
● Set as: Assign the image as a Contact photo, Home and lock screens wallpaper, Home screen wallpaper,
Lock screen wallpaper, or to Wallpaper.
● Save as: Rename your current image and save it to your gallery.
