4.4.2 Installing the Bottom Cover

1. Connect the sub battery cable to PJ4 on the power supply board. Then position the battery
beneath the PS/2 mouse cable so that the battery is flush with the posts.
2. Position all the wires so that they are not pinched by the sub battery. Then secure the PS/2
mouse cable to the battery with tape (Figure 4-9).
3. Place the bottom cover over the computer, adjusting it as necessary to align the screw holes
and seams.
CAUTION: When installing the bottom cover on the computer, push the FDD cover in with
your finger so that the cover does not jam when you secure the bottom cover.
4. Make sure the two front latches and one back latch snap into place (Figure 4-8).
5. Place the math coprocessor cover into position and secure the bottom cover to the com-
puter with the one M2x8 screw and the nine M2x6 screws (Figure 4-7).
6. Install all the port covers (Figure 4-6).
