COM/PRT/FDD
This group of options allows you to set the serial and parallel ports and the built-in modem.
SERIAL PORT
This option allows you to select either COM1 or COM2 for the serial port.
COM1 (IRQ4/3F8h) Assigns COM1 to the serial port. This is the default setting.
COM2 (IRQ3/2F8h) Assigns COM2 to the serial port.

CARD MODEM
This option allows you to select either COM1 or COM2 for the card modem port.
COM1 (IRQ4/3F8h) Assigns COM1 to the card modem port.
COM2 (IRQ3/2F8h) Assigns COM2 to the card modem port. This is the default

NOTE: You can assign a COM level only once. For example, the Serial Port and Card
Modem options cannot both be assigned to COM1.
CARD MODEM POWER
If a card modem is installed in the T3300SL, this option appears. It assigns power to the
modem.

OFF
Use this option to save battery power when you are not using the modem.
