8. Remove the four M2.5x4 special screws (JDE2085M JVC drive) or four M3x4 special
screws (MK2024FC/MK2124FC Toshiba drive) securing the HDD to the bracket. Sepa-
rate the HDD from the bracket (Figure 4-16).

4.6.2 Installing the Hard Disk Drive and Battery Pack Case

NOTE: Before installing the Hard Disk Drive and battery pack case, make sure all the
cables, screws and card holders are installed correctly.
1. Secure the HDD in the bracket with the four M2.5x4 special screws (JDE2085M JVC
drive) or four M3x4 special screws (MK2024FC/MK2124FC Conner drive) (Figure 4-16).
2. Place the HDD and battery pack assembly in the T3300SL and align the screw holes in the
battery pack case area.
3. Secure the HDD and battery pack assembly in place with the five M2x6 screws (Figure 4-15).
4. Connect the flexible HDD cable to the HDD.
5. Place the 150-pin expansion port over the HDD. Slide the 150-pin expansion port to the
left to secure its latch. Secure the 150-pin expansion port in place with the single M2x4
screw (Figure 4-13).
6. Place the battery pack case assembly support bracket in position and secure it with the
single M2x4 screw (Figure 4-14). Make sure the edge of the bracket closest to the commu-
nication ports bracket is positioned beneath the plastic edge of the battery pack case.
