Press Enter. If the character string you entered matches the registered password, the

password option is reset and the display changes to:
Not Registered
If the character strings do not match, the following message appears along with a
beep indicating you must repeat steps 1 through 4.

To enable a new password, follow the procedure outlined under the above section,
HOW TO ENABLE THE PASSWORD.
MAKING A PASSWORD SERVICE DISK
The T3300SL provides a special feature that uses the Password Service Disk to unlock the
password. To create the Password Service Disk, prepare a formatted 3.5-inch 2DD floppy
disk (any data on the disk will be erased) and follow the steps below.
1.
Enable the Power On Password option as described above.
2.
Insert the 3.5-inch 2DD floppy disk into drive A.
Press End and the following message appears.

Save settings and reboot? (Y/N)
Insert Password Service Disk if necessary.
4.
Press Y. The computer writes the password data to the floppy disk. When the
procedure is completed, the following message is displayed.
Remove the Password Disk, then press any key.
5.
When the drive indicator lights are off, remove the floppy disk.
6.
Remove the disk and press any key. The new SETUP values are now recorded in
CMOS memory and the system reboots. The disk should be stored in a safe place.
TIME & DATE
Use this option to change the system date and time stored by the calendar clock timer.
