The Auger Cable
Periodicadjustmentto theauger controlcabb may be requireddue
to normalstretchand wearon the beL Adjustment i s neededif the
augersseemto hesitatewhib turning,but theengine maintainsspeed,
or continueturningwiththe auger controldisengaged.
1. Loosenthe rearhex bolton the cabb adjustmentbracket. See
Figure20.
2. Slide the cabb adjustmentbracketbackwardstakingout the slack
in the augercabb.
3. Refightenthe rear hexbolt
4. Start engineand verifyauger controlengagesand disengages
properly.
NOTE: if augercontinuesto rotatewith the controldisengaged,shut
off the engineand readjustthe cablebracketforward.Then recheck
theauger operation.

Disconnect s park plugwire and groundit againstthe engineto prevent u nintended starting.Alwayswearsafetyglassesduringoperationor while
performing anyadjustments or repairs.
