and stop engine.Wait untilall movingpartshavecometo a complete

Checking Engine Oim
NOTE: Checktheoil levelbeforeeachuseand after every five hours
of operationto be surecorrectoil levelis maintained.
Whenaddingoil to the engine,referto viscositychart below.Engine
oil capacityis 600 ml (approx.20 oz.). Donot over-fill.Usea 4-stroke,
or an equivalenthighdetergent,premiumquality motoroil certified
to meet or exceedU.S.automobilemanufacturer's requirements for
serviceclassification SG, SR MotoroilsclassifiedSG, SFwill show
this designationon the container.
1. Removethe oil fillercap/dipstickand wipethe dipstickclean.
2. insert the cap/dipstickintothe oil filler neck,butdo not screwit in.
3. Removethe oil fillercap/dipsticL if levelis low, slowlyadd oil until
oil levelregistersbetweenhigh (H) and low (L). See Figure11.
4. Replaceand tighten cap/dipstickfirmlybeforestartingengine.
Changing Engine Oim
NOTE:Changethe engineoil after the first 5 hoursof operationand
oncea seasonor every 50 hoursthereafter,
1. Drainfuelfrom tank by runningengineuntilthe fuel tank is empty.
Be surefuel fill cap is secure,
2. Placesuitableoil collectioncontainerunderoil drain plug.
3. Removeoil drain plug.See Figure12.
4. Tipengine to drainoil intothe container,Usedoil mustbe
disposedof at a propercollectioncenter,
Usedoil is a hazardouswasteproducLDisposeof used oil properly.
Do notdiscardwith householdwaste.Checkwith your localauthori-
ties or SearsServiceCenterfor safedisposal/recycling facilities.

Reinstallthe drainplug and tightenit securely.
Refillwith the recommended oil and checkthe oil level See
Recommended Oil Usage charL The engine's oil capacity is 20
ounces.
