Bandwidth

This section is used to determine how much bandwidth will be used by a video call.
• Display Mosaic Frames — if enabled, the received video will be much smoother, however,
there may be a mosaic look to the image instead of pauses in the video due to low
bandwidth.
• Video bit rate — select the bit rate to use for a video call. The bit rates supported on the
phone are:
— 64 Kbps
— 192 Kbps
— 256 Kbps
— 384 Kbps
— 512 Kbps
— 768 Kbps
— 1 Mbps
— 1.6 Mbps
— 2 Mbps
— 3 Mbps
— 4 Mbps
• Video resolution — select the resolution to use on a video call. The phone supports these
resolutions:
— QCIF (176*144)
— CIF (352*288)
— VGA (640*480)
— 4CIF (704*576)
— 720P (1280*720)
For clear and smooth video, it is recommended to use the H.264 codec with the Video bit rate
set to at least 2 Mbps.
