Primary/Secondary Master/Slave PIO
The four fields allow you to set a PIO (Programmed Input/Output)
mode for each of the four IDE devices that the onboard IDE interface
supports. Modes 0~4 provide increased performance. In Auto mode,
BIOS automatically determines the best mode for each IDE device.
Primary/Secondary Master/Slave UDMA
Ultra DMA implementation is possible only if your IDE device sup-
ports it and your operating environment contains a DMA driver. If
both your hard drive and software support Ultra DMA, select [Auto]
to enable BIOS support.
MCP OnChip PCI Device
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu, which contains the following items for
advanced control:
MCP AC97 Audio
This item allows you to enable/disable the MCP chipset's feature to
support AC97 Audio.
MCP MC97 Modem
This item allows you to enable/disable the MCP chipset's feature to
support MC97 Modem.
MCP OnChip Lan
This item allows you to enable/disable the onboard LAN function.
