2 Adjusting the red magnetic focus, AQP/DQP and AHP/DHP

Press the POSITION + key once to enter the focus adjustment mode

for the upper parts (position No. 2).
When you press the POSITION + key, the part to be adjusted cycles

through the order as illustrated on the left. The position number is
displayed at the upper right corner.
If you press the POSITION – key, the part cycles through the reverse

order.

Adjust the AQP, DQP, AHP and DHP for position No. 2.
Press the v or V key to select the adjustment item and press the B or b
key to correct the distortion of the spot.

Press the POSITION + or – key to select the adjustment position and
repeat steps 5 and 6 for each position.
Adjust positions No.3 to No.9 in order.

Press the FUNCTION key once to exit from the SPOT SHAPE mode.

Display the ME-pattern with the PATTERN key.

Press the POSITION + or – key to select the adjustment position No. 2
to No. 9 and adjust MG, AQP and DQP so that the letters ME are
clearly visible for every part of the screen.
Note
Do not adjust AHP and DHP for positions No. 2 to No. 9.

Press the CUT OFF G and B keys to display the red signal only, and
adjust AQP, DQP, AHP and DHP in the same manner as the green
signal.

Press the CUT OFF G and R keys to display the blue signal only, and
adjust AQP, DQP, AHP and DHP in the same manner as the green
signal.
Press the CUT OFF G and B keys to display the red signal only. Then
adjust the red magnetic focus, AQP/DQP and AHP/DHP. To adjust them,
perform the same procedure as for the green signal.
