4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 so that the core of a spot is located at the
center of the flare.
5 Select ALL again, then set the value to –80 so that the spot is
focused.
6 Select 4PA, then correct the vertical and horizontal distortion of the
spot.
7 Select 4PD, then correct the diagonal distortion of the spot.
8 Select 6PA and correct the vertical triangular-form distortion of the
spot.
9 Select 6PD and correct the diagonal triangular-form distortion of
the spot.
0 Repeat steps 6 to 9 so that the spot becomes a correct circle.
!¡ Select ALL, display the ME-pattern by pressing the PATTERN key,
and adjust so that the spot is in focus.

Adjust the AHP/DHP at corners of the screen. (in expert mode only)

Press the PATTERN key repeatedly to display the ME-pattern.

Press the POSITION + key once to enter the focus adjustment mode

for the upper parts (position No.2).
When you press the POSITION + key, the part to be adjusted cycles
5 through the order as illustrated on the left. The position number is
displayed at the upper right corner.
If you press the POSITION – key, the part cycles through the reverse

order.

Adjust the focus and AQP/DQP for the upper part of the screen
(position No.2).
1 Press the B or b key so that the upper part of the screen is in focus.
2 Select AQP with the v or V key, and press the B or b key so that
the letters ME are clearly visible. (AQP adjustment)
3 Select DQP with the v or V key, and press the B or b key so that
the letters ME are clearly visible. (DQP adjustment)
4 Repeat steps 1 to 3 until the letters ME are in best focus.
