5.15 Generator Belt Replacement – Continued
6) Remove the generator belt (Figure E).
7) Pull the generator out of the frame towards the front of the unit, and remove the generator belt (Figure F).

8) Reverse Steps 1-7 to install a new generator belt. NOTE: Be sure to re-tension the new generator belt to 80 ft / lbs of torque.
9) Test the bike for function as outlined in Section 5.20.
